Laura Lembas lives in beautiful and historic downtown Lexington, Virginia. She works as a curator at the George C. Marshall Museum. Besides having a love of history, Laura enjoys historic architecture, antique cars, and baseball. In addition to enjoying all the great food and architecture, she hopes to gain an understanding of museum management while in Italy.

Nancy Whitlock- Team Leader
Nancy has been a member of the Rotary Club of Waynesboro, VA, for 8 years, serving as Club President in 2010-2011 and Aide to the District Governor in 2008-2009. She is a Multiple Paul Harris Fellow and Sustainer and is a graduate of the Rotary Leadership Institute.
Timothy Davis- Team Member
Elisabeth Sours- Team Member
Elisabeth lives in Luray, Virginia located in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley. She is a teacher at Skyline High School near the top of District 7570, in Front Royal, Virginia where she teaches Personal Finance to students in 11th and 12th grade (ages 16-18). She also spends one class a day working with students with cognitive disabilities. During her free time Elisabeth enjoys volunteering at a local club for teens, hiking in the Shenandoah National Park and practicing yoga. In 2004 Elisabeth married Joey Sours, who is the general manager for a local manufacturing company. While on the GSE trip Elisabeth hopes to expand her knowledge regarding education systems in Northern Italy and to gain greater insight into the local culture.
Tara Roberts- Team Member
Tara lives in Raphine Va. just south of Historic Staunton, Va with her fiance David and her two Bichon Frises. She is a culinary arts teacher at Valley Vocational Technical Center. Tara also works part time as a caterer. Tara enjoys hot air ballooning. She and David purchased a balloon in 2005 and have enjoyed being able to fly around the country but especially enjoy flying in the Shenandoah Valley. Tara hopes to immerse herself in Italian culture and is especially looking forward to learning the art of Italian cuisine.
