We’re leaving on a jet plane.....

The preparation has come to an end for the Rotary GSE trip district 7570 visiting district 2030, Northern Italy. We have completed our first flight, Roanoke to Dulles. We will then fly to Munich and finally to our end destination in Turin at noon tomorrow, or 6am EST. During this trip we are all excited to visit our individual vocations and enjoy the local culture.

We would like to thank all who made this opportunity possible, with a team of 5 there are too many to mention, but a special shout out goes to Ernie Bentley, the District GSE Chair and District Governor Janet Johnson. Nancy Whitlock- Team Leader

Nancy lives in Afton, VA, in the Blue Ridge Mountains.  She has been a Registered Nurse (RN) for 37 years, working in hospitals, coordinating community health care, and teaching nursing in colleges and universities.  Nancy is President / Owner of PRN Staffing, Inc., which provides supplemental staffing for health care facilities and home health care.  She is also the Clinical Coordinator at the Augusta Regional Free Clinic.

Nancy has been a member of the Rotary Club of Waynesboro, VA, for 8 years, serving as Club President in 2010-2011 and Aide to the District Governor in 2008-2009.  She is a Multiple Paul Harris Fellow and Sustainer and is a graduate of the Rotary Leadership Institute.
